New Year

Well, I had forgotten I'd created this blog and created another one; which I also managed to let fall to the wayside.... So, here goes trying to keep up with it again.
We're in Texas and loving it. I'm working for the police dept., dispatching and Richard is working for Sunny D as a plant technician. We both love our jobs and things are going great!
Mom's cancer was successfully removed; though she had quite a scare after surgery and was placed on life support for about a week. She's been home and recovering for some time now though and is doing well.
Other mom has had a few major surgeries as well, but somehow manages to continue to help us out tremendously with the girls and caring for them when we are at work.
I also had a major surgery... had to have a complete abdominal hysterectomy. It went fine, but somehow I do NOT remember the cesarians huring nearly as bad. Maybe it was because I had a beautiful baby to keep my mind occupied. Either way, I'm healed now and things are 100% better!
We bought a house & 24 acres and, though it's an older home, it has quite a bit of charm and we love it! We're hoping to maybe build a new home on the property sometime in the near future; time will tell if those goals/wishes come to fruition...
Until next time... loves & hugs.

Life's changes

We will be moving again soon. Rich finally got his separation date and we'll be going to TX. The girls and I are in Michigan visiting.... and will meet up with him in TX later (hopefully he'll have a place already and be mostly unpacked!)
Other than that, not a whole lot new going on. My mom had a scare with lung cancer. However, the 95% chance of being cancer dropped to a 10% chance. She's scheduled for more tests at the beginning of April.
We were all hanging out a few nights ago and I was dying and highlighting my sister and my mom's hair. Before we got started, Hannah asked, "when are we going to do 'the burning of the hair'"? Ha! She's so funny. The burning of the hair... hehehe
